Does Your Dog Suffer From Separation Anxiety?

An animal-loving couple has reopened their pet services business to ensure that pet owners can rest easy knowing their furry friend is in the best of hands when they transition from remote working at home and return to the office.

Emma and Adrian Cartlich, from Weston Coyney in Stoke-On-Trent run a pet care service providing grooming, chipping, and walking, but currently offering only dog walking services due to the lockdown, reports the Stoke Sentinel.

With so many people forced to work from home during the last few months of the COVID-19 lockdown, as they prepare for the return to the office again, there are concerns over their dogs developing separation anxiety, after adjusting to their owners being home for so long.

While Emma and Adrian have plans to offer further services in the near future, at the moment they are only performing puppy visits, dog walking, same-household group walks, and cat care at home.

Emma said: “We have new customer policies and handover protocols in place now and we are following government and industry body guidelines.

“We will also be wearing PPE and have introduced additional cleaning and disinfection protocols.”

She added: “At the moment we are just doing our dog walking and cat care services, but we will be launching our ‘Precious Pets Unleashed’ service which is one hour of action-packed, off-the-lead fun in a totally safe and secure field for up to four dogs at a time. It’s a great opportunity for dogs to build up their social skills.

“We will also be doing a two-hour adventure package where we will take up to four dogs at a time to lakeside and woodland locations nearby.”
