No one is having much fun at the moment thanks to the coronavirus pandemic and we’re all sacrificing something in some way or another at the moment – which is no doubt taking its toll on our mental health and wellbeing… and we all want life to go back to normal soon as we can.
While you may well be missing your weekly or monthly trip to your local salon for beauty and skincare treatments, it’s important that you follow government guidance relating to social distancing and self-isolation in order to slow the spread of the virus and reduce the pressure on the NHS.
However, it seems that some are deliberately flouting the rules and having cosmetic surgery practitioners come to their houses for dermal fillers and other such treatments.
According to the Daily Telegraph, government-approved register of accredited practitioners Save Face has seen over 65 complaints relating to private treatments advertised on social media sites since March.
Apparently, the most common requests being seen are for dermal fillers for lips and cheeks, as well as botulinum toxin injections to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles, with procedures mainly being booked in the north-west of the country.
Social distancing is essential to slow the spread of the virus and ensure that life goes back to relative normal as quickly as possible.
This means having no one in your home who doesn’t live there, maintaining a distance of two metres from all those outside your household and not going out for any reasons other than daily exercise, a medical need or for essential food shopping.
