If you’re a fan of the bright and bold movement that is pop art, you may be thinking about how to incorporate some of this into your home. But you need to make sure you consider a room as a whole to get the pop art vibe right, rather than just investing in one or two pieces of art.

A recent article for Mansion Global spoke to some interior designers about how you can get the pop art look in your abode.

Fawn Galli, principal of Fawn Galli Interior Design, which is based in Manhattan, told the publication that a piece of pop art shouldn’t match the rest of your decor, but it does need to go with it.

It’s best to start with your artwork and build the rest of your decor from there. “Pull some colours from the art but also throw in contrasting elements to make your home more personal and layered. Art should never match the interior but vibe off it,” she explained.

Christopher Coleman, of Sanchez + Coleman studio in Miami, recommended using elements like rugs and chairs to add a splash of colour and bring your interiors to life.

He also suggested picking up pop art accent pieces from museum stores, because you can get some great examples of the style in these shops. Of course, once you have your art you need to make sure it’s ready to be displayed, so arrange picture framing in north London to ensure it has the perfect finish.
